I have very few MKV files containing an mpeg stream. I don't here sound. Only if I choose Haali as SourceFilter for Matroska I here sound. I don't mind to use it. I can't remember my exact settings before, but those files worked with Build 1431. Now I use 1432r2

Here a file info (others nearly equal)

I know MPEG shouldn't be inside of MKVs.

I'd like to see the sample if possible. :)

It's a whole file packed with 7zip. 35,2 MB (or 35.2 MB)

Internal mkv splitter seems to recognize it as mp3, not mp2.

Thanks for the report.

Just to report: This does exist in Build 1435pre2 too.

MKV with MP(E)G inside have no sound with internal MKV splitter, with Haali they have.

I do not really care nor do I complain about that... just to report
