bitmap subs can't display

i have this bitmap sub that can't display with KMP (v2.9.1.1043)
but play fine using ffdshow (2 feb 2006 version)

the vobsub file is here:-

Have you tried to open with vsfilter(directvobsub)?
I've tried it with ffdshow (Feb 3 2006), vsfilter and mpc but vobsub was not displayed on screen successfully.

just try vsfilter and mpc they too can't display, hmm
but ffdshow got no problem, not sure why is this so :confused:
here the ffdshow.ax i am using that correctly display the subs

i also try subrip (vob to srt convertor), no problem detecting the OCR bitmap char, so i guess the sub file is not faulty.

i try another player (crystal player which also doesn't use any external filter/files, have to unrar the sub since this player doesn't support it) with success too

This is fixed but another problem seems to be introduced. So it could be switched back.

As I'd said in the previous comment of mine, it was disabled. It's not a bug of kmp but due to the subtitle itself. According to the developer, it's normal of not showing subtitles as the value of alpha transparency set to zero. It was wrongly set from the beginning.

In my opinion, you'd better use the subtitles after fixing or stick to other players.
