Matroska Chapter Problem

First, I must say that kmplayer is awesome. It lets me display English subtitles for me and Spanish subtitles for my girlfriend and I don't need all the codecs anymore.

My only problem is the previous/next buttons do not work for chapters in matroska files. If I open a DVD with kmplayer, I can use the previous/next buttons to navigate through the chapters, but I open a motraska file, the buttons just navigate to more matroska files. I disabled opening other files, but now the buttons just do nothing.

I realize under the bookmarks/chapters that the chapters are listed, and I have set my left and right arrow keys to do chapter navigation, but is there anyway to make the onscreen buttons works so that my media keyboard buttons will also work? As of now, they work in DVDs, but just try to choose the next file with .mkvs.
