Disable autoplay when opening a video file?

Is there a way to make it so that kmplayer doesn't automatically play when opening a video file? I looked through Preferences but didn't see a way to toggle or disable "autoplay on open." Thanks in advance.

Currently there is not such an option.

If you are loading a file from KMP menu, use the playlist to add files.

If you load files from explorer, go to Preferences -> Association/Capture -> [Association tab] -> and enable "Enqueue files on double click".
