Hi ther

Ever since I discovered KMplayer I can't live without it.
It seems it's the only or at least one of the few where picking codec and filters by hand is actually easy to do.

Right now I bumped into an audio problem. It does not happen to every file so that's one problem less but when playing a *.wmv file (HD) it seems that audio randomly stops but recontinues when I jump forward a bit and then back where the audio stopped. Repeating this everytime it occurs.

Tried changing Audio Renderer without luck and I'm stuck there since I have no clue what's causing this.

Have you tried to activate the "SuperSpeed Mode" and/or tried to use Overlay Mixer as Video Renderer?

I have, no effect.

It plays seamlessly with MWP Classic, using the same audio decoders.
I've also tried witching back on the internal decoders by default setting for KMplayer but this didnt help either.

SMI,

I am running into the same problem. The kind of file I am playing when the sound stops is exactly like yours, even my config is very similar to yours.

I've tried diferent files with the same codecs (WMA 10 sound in WMV containers, 1080p and 720p). I've tried High Speed and Superspeed and DXVA (lower cpu use) without success.

Hey

Somewhat good to hear im not alone on this problem, however I wish I had found a way to fix it by now.
At the moment whenever a videofile fails to play the sound the way it should I just switch to WMPClassic. The one thing that I miss on this player compared to KMplayer is the subtitle-sync'ing...
