First of all, thank you for this great player.
Here are some of the bugs I found:
1. I work with laptop and when I watch movies on battery power, screen saver is switching on. On AC power there is no problem.
2. I have some problems with subtitles in .sub format, they did not display correctly, but when I convert them to .srt format everything is fine. I try other players and with them subtitles are fine.
Keep up the good work man :D

Posting a problemetic .srt file would help to fix a bug if it is.
We nearly don't use other formats than .smi in our nation.
Don't ask me why.. ;)

Here is problematic subtitle file:

It is in cyrillic.

they did not display correctly

Uhm.. Do you mean that the characters of cyrillic are not displayed correctly? Oops... I don't know cyrillic characters. So I have no idea about the differences between the correct and the worng displayed charachters.

Did you try to change charset in "preferences > subtitles processing > font"?

I mean that they sometimes delay or hurry up. I don't have any problems with characters.
@disho
радвам се, че не съм единственият българин тук :D
кирилицата си бачка и при мен, проблема е че някой път избързват или се забавят, но когато ги конвертирам в .srt всичко е ОК.

I found another bug:
I start using KMPlayer as audio player and all my MP3 files are on my office PC, but I work with my laptop and I listen through our LAN. Between every songs there is delay. I copy some MP3 to my laptop and there is no problem when I play them from my hard disk.

Then, would you let me know the exact time-position in order to compare the differences?

Do you mean for MP3 or Video files?

Of cause I do mean .sub format of subtitles.

I work with my laptop and I listen through our LAN. Between every songs there is delay.

I can't catch the exact meaning of "delay between every songs".
But isn't it natural that there is some delay between songs if it is played via network?

It's delay 2-3 seconds between songs, but when I play them with other players there is no delay, next song start to play immediately.

I think it`s normal that there is some delay between every songs .it must take some time to load the songs from the harddisk.or to close the current file !

But with other players (WinAmp, Windows Media Player 10) there is no delay between songs.

Hi Forka2k,

even if the KMPlayer is an excellence media player (the best which i tested), im too disappointed for problems with "sub" subtitle format. I think, bug is not in used character set, but the main trouble is this: the KMPlayer uses the same framerate (25.00) by the internal converting "frame descripted format" (sub) to "time descripted format". Movies and subtitle assigned with framerate 25.00 are playing orderly, by different framerates are failing. See "SUBTITLE EXPLORER" - calculated time by subtitles is correct only in case when framerate is 25.00.

Have you tried a updated test version?
The developer has mentioned a thing about this, but I can't confirm the bug was fixed entirely.

Hi,

thanks for instant answer.
I tested KMPlayer ver. 2.8.1.1031 for Windows. I thought, that version 2.8.1.1031 is the latest. I can't found no presented "updated test version" on official KMplayer homepage (or web in global).
Does exist a latter version? From where is possible to download it?
Thank You for Your help
Bye
