why KMP doesn't support the old rm files ?

like this one:

don't tell that i need to install RealPlayer because it must be supported in kmp

hope there is a solution for this problem in next version :(

Real Media files are not directly supported.

Install "Real Alternative" if you don't want to install "Real 10.5". KMPlayer needs those codecs, but redistribution is forbidden so they can't be included in KMPlayer and need to be installed manually. Everything newer as 10.5 isn't compatible with KMPlayer, so Real Alternative is the easiest way.

KMPlayer needs the codecs, convince the producers of Realplayer to allow redistribution and those codecs could be included in KMPlayer.

it make KMP really disappoint in many time!

Real codecs are proprietary, so until Real networks do not change their License Agreement, KMP cannot include the codecs.

to fix no sound when u play *.Rmvb , just remove Realplayer 11 and download Real Alternative

hooi31, we know about this problem. People should either use RealPlayer 10.5 (not 11) or use Real Alternative.
