KMPlayer does not show playback status

KMPlayer does not show playback status as on screen message.

Play or Pause is not shown. Ofter players do.

Is there a reason why? Not that I would need it. I'm just curious.

I reseted the settings and for me it does not work. Do you have a special setting?

Right click>Skins>one of two options with overlay

Default settings with Control to one of the Overlay options (tried both)

For me it still does not work.

EDIT: I get other messages like volume changes and 5sec forward etc.

I must be missing something. What exactly are you looking for?

Oh I'm an idiot. I did not understood your help.

If I hover the mouse over the OSC I get a on-screen-message what the button does, but not if I use the skin or the keyboard.

I used MPC or VLC one of the showed "Pause"/"Play" on the screen as I paused and unpaused the file. I will do a screen shot if I get it to work again.

EDIT: I can't do a screenshot of this "message".

EDIT2: I attached a screenshot that shows KMP if change the volume.

I thought KMP would or could do the same if video is paused. It's not needed for me. Just curious.
