Hi!

I have Radeon Avivo Video :) HD 3850 :)

I have POwer DVD 9 Ultra

So if I want KMPlayer to use Avivo on my Windows XP, which file in the PowerDVD 9 folder should I tell KMPlayer to use for the DVD Decoder?

And then I choose EVR video renderer?

Thank you!

If you have PowerDVD installed, the codecs should be registered in your system.

To add registered codecs to KMP, go to Preferences -> DVD settings -> Decoder tab, and press the "External decoder search" button. In the window that opens, press "Add after scan" and then close it with the "OK" button.

Then you should be able to select the Cyberlink decoder in KMP (in the same decoder tab, select it in the MPEG-2 list and configure it with the "C" button. Enable the DxVA checkbox into the codec configuration).

Please note that I really don't know if PDVD9 codecs or DxVA work with KMP (I've only tested PDVD8 codec).

In DVD settings -> Navigator tab, select "Disable KMP Video transform filter".

In DVD settings -> Renderer tab, select VMR9 Renderless.

Hello! :) Thank you very much!

Now that I have Disabled KMPlayer Transform Filter, am I correct in thinking that if I want to continue to oversample I must now use DScaler for that function? My videos are all playing at default size now.

Thank you!!!
