Remove all Online Media stuff?

Is it possible to customize the media library. I want to remove some stuff like all the online media junk, and if possible rename & maybe remove a couple others. I do not care for the buy now info box either. I want it to run from a flash drive as well as my hd. I initially installed it, & then copied the folder to my flash. Then uninstalled it & it did work. I know that certain components on the pc are required but am sure that for the most part I could plug in elsewhere & use it also. I like having just one portable software for media playback & hope this will be the one. Any help on this would be appreciated.

The media library is used as plugin. So it's impossible to change the option other than in the preferences of the media library. But you can remove all the online media junk and info box in ML's preferences.

As KMP is based on directshow which is a part of directx, it's necessary to run kmp. Beside the necessary of pre-installed direcx, you may use it as you wish. There is an option to keep configuration into .ini file.
