PORTUGUESE TRANSLATION

HI.

Thankz for your piece of work. KMP is everyting i expected in a video
reproducer (and more. I know, i know.)

i'm translating the ini file into good (i dare say) technical portuguese and
this would be helpful also, i believe, for brasiliens (same language= very
small differences...).

Right now i'm midway to final phrasings and i've a doubt/problem:

When translating some captions with letter keys, for instance: O&pen
-- this is indicative that letter p will work as a shortcut cmd for the said
action... Now, in Portuguese language the meaning: Abrir has no p letter
to assign and if i present it as A&brir i'm replacing p with b which most probably will not trigger the correct equivalent action...

And above is described the problem and my doubts as per the best solution.
I would appreciate some advise on this issue.

Hello, henriQ.

You don't need to be bound by the letter of shortcut.
It's my own assignment. Originally, there is no shortcut as it is translated from korean language(Do you know korean characters? It is totally different from alphabet and impossible to assign shortcut with korean characters. :p).

So, it's up to you. ;)

Glad to take notice that shortcut paths to KMP functionswill not be affected by whatever last minute latin alphabeth letter gets assigned to.

i should perhaps had given some thought to your mother tongue alphabeth set but then again i'm informed many asian
programers & developpers use the english language for captions, comments and internal cmds and so i decided to ask
because i'm putting up some hours of work in this translation task, as you imagine and i aim to be correct.
