Not a bug actually as such but a spelling error. Hardly a show stopper but I thought I'd mention it just in case it hadn't been noticed :)

Right Click menu / Screen Controls / 6 - Full Screen (stretch). Stretch has been spelled 'strecth'.

Secondly, is there a manual or explanation of what all the functions specifically do. In particular I'd like to know what some of the advanced video filters (such as denoise or descaler etc.) do. Also Audio options like crystality? There are many more (the various sharpen options threshold etc.)

This is a very nice media player btw. The most functional I've come across.

Have a nice day :)

Thanks for your correction. :D

The advanced video filters come from libmplayer.dll and the interface is borrowed from ffdshow. Though not exactly same but you can find the good explanation from it. Crystality ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) is a well known audio filter.

Thanks!

I did a search for those two items. The second one it seems is a compression codec? The dll came up with nothing.

Sorry to be a pain, but do you have a more direct link to how or where I could get more in depth explanations??

As the terminology is usually used for video processing, not specific in kmp, you'd better first study the each meaning of technical term.

For example, here is an explanation for general concept of denoise: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
And you can compare the function with that of ffdshow. The following is the first result of googling: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

"The second one it seems is a compression codec?"
No, it's not a kind of codec ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

Video basics: [Only registered and activated users can see links] [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Filter details: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
