problem with plaing the downloading rm or rmvb file

you can paly it but only limited to the part you`ve downloaded ?Then as dowmloading work continued ,if you want to watch the rest part of the video ,you would have to restart the kmplayer !
is rm foramt coded specially ,because there is no problem with the other format?
And if you play it with realplayer ,there is no such problems.
