I have several .flv files that KMPlayer wouldnt play properly. It has audio but no video.
That file plays fine in my web browser but not correctly when it is on my harddrive. Does that mean that I am missing the codecs or does it need additional support from KMPlayer?
If you can, to upload a sample would help us to find a solution for you.
At least, you can get a proper answer of the possibility.
Without a sample, it's hard to know what it is.

The official link to watch the clip in the browser is:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
The direct link to the file so that you can download to your harddrive is:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Maybe you're using an official release only.. ;)

That is correct, I am using the official release. So you are saying that the latest betas have support for flv?
Thanks
Why not try? Official version does not mean always stable.
In fact, we always don't have enough time to test it before releasing official version. Only fixing the bug reported from user. In some maner, there is no actual difference between beta and official release. But it's just my opinion.
If you would not like to try beta, wait the official release.
The day will come, but who knows the day? ;)
ps. Yeah, there are always the people who are complaining about the bug of official version. I hate those people who never borrow hands but just grumble. (It's not for you. Don't get me wrong :D)

I did try a beta version awhile back but for some reason the file association was just messed up and so I jumped back to the original release.
Looks like I will be sticking with the current beta since it plays the flv files that I need.
Thanks Z
About the file association, do not overwrite "KIconLib.dll" if you want to keep your current icon for file association.
