I'm not talking about windows or the player shuting down after the file is played. I'm talking about scheduling for the player to close down at a specific time, only the player, not windows.

I need it because Im watching a long stephen king miniseries with only 1 file of about 4 hours. Id like for the file to close down automatically after 40-45 minutes so I can watch this file over several days. The series being so good its easy to get immersed in the story and forget about when you're supposed to stop it so I can watch it over 5-6 days, which is my main purpose. Plus I watch it from my bed, its prety cold and I dont want to get up only to stop the thing (Im providing too much information right now) :D Is there any option purposedly set for this? if not what program could I use to schedule for the kmplayer to close down at a certain time?

thanks in advance

EDIT: oh, and another thing, and this is a toughie, could KMP, before closing, automatically mark that position in the movie as a bookmark? so I know where I stopped

thanks

You can use this plugin:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Install it in the KMP plugins folder. Then configure it in Preferences (F2) -> Plugins -> General purpose.

About the second question, go to Preferences -> General, and enable "Remember played position of video files".
