When I used the preset parameter and tried to capure as avi file, the avi file always had the same problem--> the video and audio did not synchronize.
Sometimes the video faster than audio sometimes audio is faster.
I don't known how to deal with this problem.....Can anyone help me?

Besides, I can't understand the setting in the capture to avi files
such as:
1.What's the difference between encode before video or after video process? & encode before or after audio process?
Will the setting affect the final avi-> cause the uncynchronized of the video and audio??

2.IS it important to set force sync? and How to set it?

3.What's the colorspace? How to choose it?

.......Can anyone help me to deal with this problem? I really love this function of KMplayer but the unsynchronized between audio and video is really bothering.....

Thanks for your help!

According to the author, as kmp is not dedicated to avi capture, so there could be a various problem depending on the source. Avi capture is mainly for file having the extension of avi. As the way of capture does not rely on VFW structure(frame by frame), if there is a problem when capturing as avi, it's hard to correct the dissync between audio and video. In this case, you'd better try more professional capture tool.

"before" means before processing video/audio, and "after" means after processing video/audio. It could affect the dissync of A/V but not always. Generally, you don't need to set "after........".

2.IS it important to set force sync? and How to set it?
No, it's for AVIs having abnormal frame rate like 120fps. Though KMP detects actual frame rate, it is necessary to inform the accurate frmae rate(sync info) to KMP.

3.What's the colorspace? How to choose it?
Well, a thing about colorspace is a video basic. Please search the net.

Well, I had the same problem but was able to fix it. I used the LAME encoder in KMPlayer und put the .DLL from the latest LAME version in the plugin directory from KMPlayer. Since then the captured AVIs are in sync...

I have the same problem of the audio and video not being in sync when I do capture as avi file. I tried to download a newer version of lame.dll and put in the plugin folder. Why does it tell me "need lame_enc.dll and lamedll.dll in plugin folder" when the files are in the folder?
Thanks!

I advise the version 3.97 Beta 3 (should be more stable as the 3.98 alpha version).
