It's just my personal taste but you'll find it is much useful if you are an english based user.

If you want to try it, just copy it to the kmp folder. You should change key preset to z. (see the screenshot below)


O = Open files
L = Load subtitles

Q = Quick access to album menu
A = fAvorates menu
Z = filterZ

S = Subtitle Stream Selection menu (Ctrl+L, Shift+L)
X = Audio Stream Selection menu (Ctrl+X)

E = Playlist menu (Alt+E)
B = Bookmarks menu

R = Recent files menu
T = Recent subTitles menu

G = Goto dialog box
J = Open dialog box for TV-out (File navigator)
I = Media Info

Insert = Add files to playlist

V = Video (Advanced)
U = Audio

K = Skin
C = Capture

Toggle H/W Color Controls : Shift+Ctrl+R
Brightness : Shift+ Q,W,E
Saturation : Shift+ A,S,D
Contrast : Shift+ Z,X,C

Turn off Overlay/filter/Y controls : Shift+R

Toggle S/W Color Controls : Shift+Alt+R
Brightness : Shift+ T,Y,U
Saturation : Shift+ G,H,J
Contrast : Shift+ V,B,N

\ = Reload language (for translator)
Alt+\ = Reload subtitle (for subtitle makers)
Ctrl+\ = Reload current skin (for skin designers)

Ctrl+Fnn key Changes.

Aspect Ratios defined in The KMPlayer ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). For general use, it is recommended to use "Auto Select Aspect Ratio".
Ctrl+F1: Cycle Aspect Ratio
Ctrl+F2: Keep Storage Aspect Ratio
Ctrl+F3: Keep Display Aspect Ratio
Ctrl+F4: Auto Select Aspect Ratio

Ctrl+F5: Keep 1.33:1 (4:3 TV)
Ctrl+F6: Keep 1.78.1 (16:9 HDTV)
Ctrl+F7: Keep 1.85:1 (WideScreen)
Ctrl+F8: Keep 2.35:1 (CinemaScope)

Ctrl+F9: Keep Custom Aspect Ratio...



Read ETC section in this article ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).
F10: Display subtitles on a video frame
F11: Display subtitles rightly under a video frame
F12: Display subtitles at bottom of screen

` key is mapped to use Custom Screen Postion/Size Definition. So it must be configured to activate the hotkey. See the screenshot below.

`: Custom Screen Position/Size
1: 50%
2: 100%
3: 150%
4: 200%
5: Go to Full Screen (Normal) - Enter or Wheel Click
6: Go to Full Screen (Stretch)
7: Go to Full Screen (Overscan)
8: Maximize Window - Double click on titlebar
9: Desktop Mode - only works in overlay mixer.

The bold part is more convenient way to access the function.
