Hello.
1) For the playlist music, why not giving the total time for all files in the current album?
2) When you are listening a playlist, if you click on the Stop button, then Play button, you don't play the last current file but the first file of the playlist. Why noy giving the possibility to resume at the beginning of the last current file when click on the Stop button?
A+
Hello,
1. What kind of player did you use? I just don't understand what you are talking about. Is there such player giving the total time for all files in the current album by default?
2. Hmm... I must be stupid. :p Would you explain it step by step(can't reproduce)?
Hi.
1. I think Winamp with classic skin shows it on a little display on the bottom of the playlist. I am not sure as I use Foobar2000.
2. As I understood it, he means: e.g - you have 5 songs in playlist ... you listen to song nr.4 , then you stop it ... and when you click play, it begins from song nr1 ... but asma3 wants it to play from nr4.
Thats the way I understood it.

1) Winamp give in his playlist the total time of all the files of the album (for a burning CD by example)!!!
2) You have a playlist with 10 files.
You are listening the file number 5 of the 10 files
For any reason, you must stop but not quit the KMPlayer by clicking on the "STOP" button
So the last file is the number 5 (if you quit the software and reload it and if you have validate the resume option the music resume at the fifth position)
If you click on the "Play" button, it is not the number 5 of the list but the FIRST file of the list unlike Winamp by example...

MAD, it OK you have understood me...
To display total times is not so good idea, as kmp is mainly for video playback. But your suggestion can be considered partly in the future. Do not expect too much. :)
I've done several tests as your description, but I can't still reproduce what you said. Confirm if kmp is the latest version, and try to reset if it is.
Testing details.
step 1
1. load 14 files into playlist
2. play the 5th file
3. press stop button
4. press play button again
step 2
1. load 14 files into playlist
2. play the 5th file
3. exit kmp by pressing exit button without stoping playing
4. launch kmp
5. start playing by pressing play button

OK for the first point.
I confirm for the second point:
I have closed KMP for some time.
So after reading your actual post, i reload KMP: the music resume with the last file playing ( in this case, the file was the number 4).
Then i click on the "Stop button": the music stop
Then i click on the "Play" button : The music replay with the FIRST file of the playlist but not with the current file ( in my case, the forth) :( :(
PS: i am using the last version 2.9.2.1100 (and the first for me...)
I tested it as well and I have no problem.
When I play the 6th song (from 12), press stop and then play ... kmp starts playing the 6th song.
Try resetting KMP.
Really weird thing.
In my case, I have no problem.
Are there anyone who can confirm this?
ps. Thanks, mad. :)
I'm using winxp sp2. Anyway, if you find something, let us know it.

Okay: With the total reset, the problem disappear :o
If i can reproduce the "bug" :o , i will try to compare the parameters before and after reset...

Congratulation.
I have another issue same as this:
If I am playing 5th song, then I close KMP without stop music
Reload KMP, It is not auto play 5th song,
Press play, It play form begin of 5th song, but not resume from where I close KMP.
Is the a issue ?
You should select auto-resuming option in preferences.
Thanks,
z

I have selected auto resum option, But looks like it does not in effect.
Hmmm,
I have no idea why it does not work in your system.
As I can't reproduce what you said, I can't help you.
If you find something, let me know that.
Thanks,
z
