View Full Version : How to boost audio experiences?
The following steps will enhance sound experiences to some extent through connection to cyberlink audio decoder, especially under the environment of 2ch speacker settings.
1. Disable internal LPCM decoder and Enable 16bits PCM.
2. Switch Audio Output to LPCM.
3. Switch External LPCM Audio Decoder to "Cyberlink audio decoder".
4. Configure "Cyberlink audio decoder" as you wish.
The following registry is my personal favorite.
It will be a good example for enhancing a sound.
Thanks Z :)
using enhancer (winamp plugin) has awesome effects on sound
I do not recommend to use enhancer with the above settings.
And if you are the user of enhancer plugin, you should disable the normalizer of kmp as enhancer contains normalizer. You can disable the normalizer of kmp by pressing "Shift+F2".

I Tried your settings on my acer TM4100 but the sound was getting distortionated and I had to go back to default

Darn... after applying your fixes along with reg file sound got pretty bad... Like in I don't hear gunshots anymore, they are heard very, very faint, rest of the audio is kinda boosted in "strength" even background noise, but gunshots are pretty weak and bad.
Does this reg file apply even to WMP and other players?
You can read the registry file.
It only affects The KMPlayer and remember that it is a simple example.
It is also possible to reset the values in the preferences of KMP as it is nothing but the several sum of configurations.
Read this thread, it might help you. It looks like AC3filter causing your problem.
