View Full Version : PlayList Capacity
KMPlayer is great:) but recently I just receive a lot of Mp3 (arround 52Gb), when I try to add the folder(the mp3 folder) in the playlist of KMPlayer. It became unstable and even stop responding. I was wondering how much media files can the playlist support?:p And is there a way to add all my mp3 in the playlist?;)
I don't know the detailed information about it as the developer is away on vacation during this weekend.
By the way, you make me surprise. -O-
What about using Media Library?
Surprise?Why?
I try to add them in the media library and then to the playlist. It did not work.:( .
Although the media Library was able to add all of them(the Mp3).
Surprise?Why?
52G mp3s are not a normal case. :D
eh!I see:D I guess I am a sort of unique case:D
I am having a problem with the Media Library:p . When I use the Library, I get a white box on my desktop. I did a print screen to show what I am talking about (The white part on the upper left of the print screen). Is it a bug?
Really weird thing.
I can't reproduce it in my computer.
Are there anyone who can confirm this?
What's the third thing in your system tray?
(do you use any additional winamp plugin which is not included in package?)

I have this problem with white screen, but in latest test version there is no problem.

Thanks for your comment! :D
The third thing in my system tray? The red "K"?It's my anti-virus.:D
So to slove the white screen problem,I have to use the lastest test version?
Ok!I downloaded the lastest test version but It's in ZIP( the test version), how I am support to install the test version?I must uninstall the official one or just uncompress the test version in the "proram files\The KNPlayer" and overwrite?
As you wish. ^________________^
Actually, KMP do not need installer.
forka2k is right the problem of the "white box" problem is fixed in the lastest test version.:)
But I notice a problem with the lastest test version.:p
I can't have DVD movie play well, the image is full of line but the sound is ok.
There seems to be a bug in Gabest mpeg2 decoder with ATI Radeon.
Try to switch other mepg2 decoders.
ps. By the way, Don't know yet whether it is because of the compatibility between kmp and gabest's mepg2 decoder or a bug of gabest's mepg2 decoder itself.
I try to change between the others options (there was only one other apart from Gabest) of the mepg2 decoders in the external video decoder section of the player but no change.:(
Is Gabest mpeg2 decoder also use in the Official version?
The Official version can play DVD movie well:confused:
I've heard there is no actual limitation in playlist capacity. The reason why kmp seems to be no responding when closing is that kmp saves the playlists opened by user manually to registry. In other words, the registry entry being saved is too huge.
Ok!Thanks for the explanation:D but is there a way to have all my mp3 in the playlist?;)
Yeah, there is a way. But in my opinion, it's wise judgment to use more professional jukebox tool like foobar.
Ok!I guess I am asking a bit too much:p
