I need A-B repeat function to learn english.^!^
So, I think I need to adjust the A or B points subtlly.
For example, when I get a period from point A (00:00:05) to point B(00:00:20), and then I think point A need to be adjusted to 00:00:03,
What should I do now? I don't know. I need a convenient button or express key to add or subtract from point A. I think it's necessary for most of language learners all over the world.
Please give us a hand.
Thanks.
In F9 dialog, turn off the following option.
"Auto repeat when setting B"
You can use keys "F5, F6" for setting each point A, B precisely and F8 to start/stop section repeat.

How can I move point A backwards a little time, such as just a second?
Now, I can move point B backwards or forewards, but I can not move point A backwards conveniently. That's my question.
Try to turn off the function of keyframe search with arrow keys and tweak the Jump Intevals in preferences > general > playback.
Or pause the playback and call the goto dialog box to move the exact position. You may know the rest procedure. It'll be convenient if you use the both A-B repeat and Goto dialog box simultaneously.

Thanks!
But don't you think this method is a liitle bulky?
Would you like another method just consisted of one step to do so? ^!^
How?
I think the function is easy enough to use. If you wish to set point A exactly, it would be better to go backward by pressing left arrow key and resetting the starting point A by pressing F5.
There are many ways to utilize the function.
If you have a suitable subtitle, subtitles section repeat can be used for the subtitle section playing current postion by the hotkey "/". Once enabling subtitles SR, you can jump the subtitle section back and forth by the hotkey "<", ">". There are additional controls in subtitle explorer. The buttons of section repeat in subtitle explorer(alt+q) only work within the dialog window. Any subtitles section can be specified before using the buttons there. It is even possible to select the section to repeat by mouse draging in subtitle explorer.

yes, I have to admit I'm a little lazy, I just want a convinient operation for that.
And why do you use Kmplayer? Becuase it's more convinient than most of other players, isn't it?
Why don't we make it much more convenient and much more popular?
I think you got accustomed to the interface of other player which you had been using before coming across the kmplayer. If you can get over the interface, I can't help it.

Recently, I have be using adobe audition to learn english with mp3.
it's very convenient for me to do everything to the audio for repeating anything and anywhere of the mp3, and mostly it's the most convenient I have ever seen before. Nearly most operation of what you want to do just need only one step.
I don't want kmplay to be like adobe audition, but I just want it to be more convenient. that's it.
As far as time permits, I'll try adobe audition and see the differences.

Audition is the soft used to process audio, but I used it to study english.
hehe!
Would you describe the steps in audition to repeat section?
I just wonder if it is possible to make kmp work like aduition as it is a directshow based player. Have you ever seen any directshow player which do a section repeat like kmp?
