Out of curiosity, why the black theme?

I just realized that several other well known media players have turned black as well, including Windows Media Player, Zoom Player, and now KMPlayer. Is this in transition for Vista?

I do like the black theme. It is actually easier to see than the previous white one in the betas.

I don't hang around here often enough to know the developmental reasoning why KMP also went black, thats all.
