problem with wdm devices!!

I have a Hauppauge HVR 1100 tv card.for analog(I am from Italy) with KMplayer I see only Rai1!!With others sofware(as mediaportal)I see all analog terrestrial channels.but kmplayer as a very good quality in RAI1!!!Why I see only RAI1?thanks

Is the mediaportal based on directshow? If not, the comparision has no meaning as the access structure is different.

problem solved!!!for italian users:for rai 1 set Italy and antenna,for all others channels set Germany and antenna
I got a very good quality with gradual denoise+soften low pass filter+deinterlacing

In the second tab of Ctrl+M dialog box, it is possible to configure decoders.

excume but the second tab is for dvb-t and not for analog channels!if i choose the second tab i see black screen.I must return to the first tab but I don't use external decoder!

I just wonder if a video decoder is necessary for analog connection.

What kind of application did you use before trying kmp?

in mediaportal I choose a mpeg2 video decoder to watch analog tv.I want use ffdhow filter to processing image..In the next version you can insert external postprocessing(as nvidia and ffdshow)

According to the author, firstly kmp tries to use the decoders for analog connection configured in the second tab of wdm device selection dialog. So the following description is not correct.
the second tab is for dvb-t and not for analog channels!

According to the author, there should be some modifications but it seems to be difficult to tweak for a specific tv-card.

my configuration in the second tabs is:
bda device hauupauge...
mpeg2 demultiplexer:ms mpeg2 demultiplexer
video decoder nvidia(or ffdshow)
ps:internal mpeg2 decoder is disabled!!!
