I use the latest beta with external Dscaler mpeg2 decoder (5.0.0.8) and reclock (latest beta) with VMR9 renderless mode: I have some drops and repeats so if I check the synk status with reclock the sync is fixed in the first quarter of screen and doesn't move to the selected range area so I can't correct drops/repeats. Suggestions?

At first, it seems that you should find the problematic part.

Try to switch to superspeed mode(alt+f).

I've tried the superspeed mode in another PC (P4 3Ghz Radeon 9800 SE) and the behavior seems the same one (sync doesn't move to selected target range); soon I'll try to my Home Pc (P4 3.2 ghz D940 Ati x1600).
Another strange behavior: if I play a DVD from Hard Disk, close KMPlayer, open KMPlayer and press play the player does not show anything. If I try to stop and play I get an access violation error

As I said, there should be a way to reproduce the problem in my side. I've checked it several times but can't find anything doubtful. Didn't you find yet in which part the problem occurs?

Not yet but this night I will try on my home pc and also on my notebook (Dual Core with Ati x1300)

i've tested the superspeed on my home pc mode but the problem problem gets worse: the sync line and the target lines are scattered in the screen...mayb it's better if I make a fresh install of XP and retry again.
soon I'll test on the notebook.
Note: the used dvd are pal version 25 fps

What I'm saying is that you should try to change the combination of filters.

I've seen that something change disabling resize from KMP menĂ¹; if I change the decoder the problem still exist (Gabest,DScaler,nVidia).
Maybe the test is on external resize in ffdshow, il check soon.
Z,can I give you any specific information (advanced playback info for example) to reproduce the problem?

All the internal filters of KMP are disabled,I've tried to disable resize in ffdshow and also tried to remove ffdshow but the problems continue (i've also tried different reder VMR mode): the sync is stay in a fixed position, reclock can't correct and drop/repeats occours.
Any suggestion?
(with other software reclock works fine)

According to your descriptions, there seems to be a compatibility problem between reclock and kmp. As we are not in the same environment of playback, it's hard to reproudce and guess the problem.

By the way, why do you use reclock? For pal speed correction?

Yes,I use reclock to watch pal material with no stutter and smooth playback. If I don't use reclock even if I use 50 Hz for pal material (25 fps) sometime image is not smooth and stutter

Hi Z,
I've readed in another forum that reclock works fine in VMR9 renderless only in exclusive mode: does KMPlayer support VMR9 renderless exclusive mode?

That's too bad.

KMP does not support the exclusive mode of VMR9 renderless and will not(maybe).

I hope in your "maybe"...
