Hi there,

Firstly, thank you for the great player. I just tried it two days ago, but already i like it very much :)

My problem is that i can't get any audio out of KMPlayer using WDM mode with a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150. I can find the channels, they look fine, but no matter what combination of settings i try all channels are mute.

Maybe i'm on a wrong track here, but as i know my tuner card should be at the audio devices in the detailed Open WDM device dialog, but there i only see my sound card - the PVR 150 is not connected to the audio card with an audio cable, rather the audio is coming directly from the card. Maybe this helps.

Thanks in advance.

Ps.: A small bug i've found: when i do a channel search with a PAL B region (ex. Denmark) the channels are added to the channel list, but they miss the "PAL B" setting, and you have to set it by hand one by one. Also the popup menu with the regions is missing the "PAL B".

I too have a hauppauge WinTV pvr-150. fenomeno83's solution didn't work (or seem to apply) to this card, but I have been able to get sound by settings the following preferences in the "Open WDM (TV) Device" dialog box:

1. In the "Video" section under "Pin:" select "Capture" (ignore the change in the "Format:" box)
2. Check the checkbox next to "Out 1:" and then select "Audio Out" in the dropdown next to it.

(These settings are shown in the attached screenshot)

Cheers!

I had to do the same with my PCTV HD USB Stick. I know the audio is onboard and if there is no setting for that I'm screwed, so I'm glad I stumbled upon this setting.
