I have a two questions about this DVD problem:
First: are you using an ATI Display card?
Second: Are you using the lastest test version of KMP?
Because I got the same problem when try to play DVD with the lastest test version of KMP. I try the "Options -> Preferences -> Troubleshootings -> General playback problem -> Correct" but the problem remain:mad:

No, i using Ndivia Display card
Yes, i using 0108 test version

My friend meets this problem too he is unable to solve like me so he changes 1120 test version

Try to change mpeg2 decoder in preferences.

Just to be sure, we are talking about the "Options -> Preferences ->Filter control -> External Video decoder" right?:confused:
As you can see in the print screen there are only system default and Gabest mpeg decoder.When the move the option on system default, the problem remain.:(

There is an internal mpeg2 video decoder and at least you may have additional mpeg2 decoder bundled with cd/dvd rom etc.

If you still have a headache, just overwrite the attached file to kmp folder. The problem will be gone.

I think the problem why I did not have more mpeg2 decoder is because I use a codec pack on my Pc.:eek:

But the attached file is not necessary for the latest version.
