Vista 64 here, RTM MSDN version, MPC, BSP, VLC and several others I have just tried work, but kmp does not. Tried the latest official (2190 I think), as well as the beta version with the same effect - the process shows up, then terminates in a second, no window ever tries to show. System log contains no messages about that, can't see any log files either. I tried deleting plugins and skins but nothing changed. What should I check next?
Well, I can't confirm but there seems to be a compatibility problem with vista 64.

greetings Kmplayer Developers Team,
Firstly, I´d like to thank you for your wonderful software.
I am affraid that the compatibility problem extents to Windows Xp Professional 64bits(buil 3790.srv3_sp1_gdr.060315-1609 with service pack 1).
I´ve recently upgraded to latest version of Kmplayer and since then I´ve been facing the same symptoms described by DrunkenDonkey.
Since I enjoy your software, I am willing to provide whatever information(hardware description, etc) you might need for figuring out what is happening and manage to fix it.
I´ve tried to run it debugging hoping that I could understand what was happening.
I can provide mini-kernel dumps even, if that comes to be anyhow useful for you.
Either way, if the compatibility problem isnt priority, it should be treated as an handled exception and some feeback should be given to the user. The way it behaves now, it just exits as if you had gracefully closed it.
Thank you very much indeed,
Wothanaz

Yo guys, sorry to bring this issue out of the dust but wanna share some things. Wothanaz bro did u by any chance removed the korean language support from your windows (nlite/vlite)? I put it back and KMPLAYER WORKS! So far I have thrown a few "difficult" movies to it including a transport stream, very high quality (over 20gb), movies that I always got bad quality in mplayer and the first impression is: KMP ROCKS MY SOCKS ;)
I'll continue testing and I have the feeling I'll throw bsplayer, mpc and vlc into the trash bin ;) Thanks for the wonderful program z
