Hello, first post here. :)
I'd like to know if KMPlayer supports customized embedded fonts in a capable video container (e.g. MKV or OGM) through SSA or ASS like MPlayer/MPC does? Let's say I watch something like Kanon (2006, H.264 Matroska sub) which plays nicely:

Is KMPlayer capable of displaying the proper fonts, colors, and styles? If so, is it done through an external filter (e.g. like MPC with VSFilter, Haali, etc.) or is it internally supported (e.g. MPlayer with ASS support compiled in)?
Thanks in advance. :)
Yes KMP does support those. You need to enable KMP external subtitle module. You must enable it in preferences (F2 - Subtitle processing - Multiple languages - Advanced - enable ext. sub. module).

Still have some problem! I have checked the option "Enable .ass .ass2 .ssa .ssf" in External Subtitle Moudle page, and the colors and styles look just the same with MPC. But,KMPlayer doesn't apply the right fonts. It still follows the default settings. Can someone help me?
P.S. I'm sure that the required fonts have installed.
Poor English! Forgive me.
Check if you are using the latest version for embedded fonts in mkv.

Ah, I see! Thanks guys! :) This is a great program WITH great support.
However, I see two bugs:
1. When you try to seek (i.e. using the seekbar) to any point in the movie, it causes KMPlayer to reset the font back to the your default font (e.g. Arial). Sometimes seeking again fixes it.
2. The audio stutters sometimes. :( I'm using the default audio settings, so maybe I need to play around with them to see if I can fix it.

Try restarting the player? That's what I did then Kanon (and my other anime/shows with custom embedded fonts) started displaying fine.
Make sure that you are using the latest version. If it still persists, try to reset the player in preferences.

Yup, I'm using the latest version you guys released. :(
It's not annoying though, I can just seek again and the subtitles will revert back to the appropriate font, but I hope you guys will be able to fix this in future revisions. :) Also, I configured my audio settings, so it doesn't stutter anymore.
Can you leave a link for that file?

Which file? The version of KMPlayer? I just got that from the main link:

EDIT: Specifically version 2.9.3.1212, gotten from the link above.
If you mean the Anime/show where I'm experiencing the problem, it's Kanon (2006):

Any episode, but specifically I tested it on episode 3 and 8, H.264 versions of course.

Nope, still the same problem... but anyways, there's an easy workaround for it, so it's not really too annoying (unless one seeks through the file a lot). :) Most likely it's a problem with the SSA/ASS subtitles not sync'ing properly when a user randomly seeks to specific times.
