Hello,

Here are some other suggestions:

1. For the "Capture" menu, a "Thumbnail Generator" like the one of "MPC,"
that allows to make a "storyboard" from video and DVD files.

2. Disc Options:

a) A "No Autorun" option that prevents software being installed on DVDs
or CDs to start with the media files(some manufacturers hide
programs on their discs that can disturb the computer, e.g. SONY
RootKit).
b) A "Jump to" option to skip advertisements, FBI warnings, and to jump
directly to the main movie or to the menu.
c) An option to deactivate UOPs.

3. Documentation ("Help") File:

There should be a detailed English documentation file available to download. The many options of this great Player are confusing for newbies like me, and it seems that no guide is available on other Internet pages

I hope you will find the suggestions useful and add them soon.

Many greetings,

There was this suggestion longer ago and the answer was not positive. Maybe the developer changed his mind, maybe not.

You can disable Autorun in system with any tweaker program (e.g. RegToy).

b) A "Jump to" option to skip advertisements, FBI warnings, and to jump
directly to the main movie or to the menu.
I use the next buttons to do that. But it works depending on the DVD.

There should be a detailed English documentation file available to download.
This was requested many times. But Z cant do everything by himself. If you wish, you can help him. You are certainly welcome to do that ;)

I hope the author will decide in favor of a Thumbnail Generator, since it would be a good thing.

By the way, the "Open" dialog should have a section "Pictures," since picture files are only shown if the section "All Files" is selected. There should also be a better support for .GIF files, since only the first picture is shown ("MPC" can play them well).

When it is possible to load files from URLs, it should also be possible to save them with "Save As" (but e.g. for YouTube, Open does NOT work, and the Player is "dead," I had to use the "Windows Task Manager" to close it, and some sections of the "Open URL" dialog have no English texts [only symbols, I think to replace Korean letters, see also my thread "Problem with Non-English letters" in the "Bug" section of the Forum.]

The Disc Options--including DVD Region patch at least for harddisk--would be useful and should be added.

Unfortunately, I cannot help "Z" very much with an English documentation at the moment, because I don't know enough about KMP's options yet myself. But I read the Forum offered a Korean on-line documentation. Perhaps you guys could translate it (each does one section of the translation) and put it as a file to download on the webpage.

Many greetings,
