Hi,
as we already discussed here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), KMP does not support playing of DVD-ISO. It is not a problem, if you have Daemon Tools, but you need to load the ISO-image to Daemon Tools manually.
As a HTPC-user I use "Open Dialog for TV" to open files. To attach iso-image to Daemon Tools I need to take the keyboard of my htpc, which I normally do not use, because all other tasks in KMP I can do with only remote control unit.
It would be great if KMP could run Daemon Tools automatically, if an iso-file was selected. We do not need a special support for Daemon Tools, what we need is a new option to list extensions, for which an external program should be called (the good place for this option is under "Preferences -> Assotion/Capture -> Extensions"). If a such file was selected, kmp should call standard Explorer's open-action for the file (I guess via "ShellApi(0, 'open', filename,..." ).
Could it be implemented? It is not too much work but would be very helpful.
Thank you very much!
