avi splitter bug

I have a little problem with a xvid encoded avi. It lags/jerks for a second in some spots.
I changed the decoder to FFDShow...nothing, but when I changed the splitter to haali, the playback went to normal.

Would you point the exact position? The avi file seems to be damaged according to your explanation. The default avi splitter from directx does not control a damaged avi.

PS. I've played the whole movie but can't find any problem. Probably, the file seems to be damaged. You can change avi splitter for normal in preferences too.

The problem seems to be gone after a restart. Weird.
I checked it, just to be sure, with DivFix++ ... and no errors.
Maybe a system process was causing the jerking. Nevermind.

Did you set Haali m.s. as a realmedia splitter? If not, reset KMP.
