when i choose "Subtitles Processing - Draw to Image Itself", the Font size will change with the video's resolution,
can i fix it to the size i want?

PS: of course i can use the other two output methods of subtitles to fix Font size, but you know, if i use these two methods, i'll make the subtitle up when i see a DVDrip(16:9); and make it down when i see a HDTVrip(4:3), so that's inconvenience.

Use alt+f1 and alt+F2 or you can change it in Preferences - Subtitles processing - Font Style - Font size.

Yes, i've filled the number behind Font size, but if you've got a high resolution video and a low resolution video(for instance, some video made by cellphone), you'll find the font size on these two video are totally different(the one on the low resolution looks bigger).
i guess it can't be fixed in "Draw to Image Itself".

there is a limit to change Font size of low resolution video, i mean, you can't change it too small.
is there some ways to fix Font size (in "Draw to Image Itself")?

In case of small video, did you try to resize it by oversampling?

It is the only way in the image type of subtitles.

wow... that's a good idea.
but one more problem,
we got two choices here:
(1)choose "Auto calc. vertical size": Font size on the movie(16:9) and TVshow(4:3) are still different. I mean, you set the characters to a big size and put them on a 640*360(16:9) like and 640*480, you'll see the difference easily.
(2)Don't choose "Auto calc. vertical size": the movie's subtitles will not show on the image, when I look at the subtitles I'll lose the image, especially for two subtitles. And that's why I wanna choose "Draw to Image Itself".

So my conclusion is Font size can not be fixed NOW if you choose"Draw to Image Itself"!

Firstly, I thought if I chose "Draw to Overlay surface", I couldn't display the subtitles on image, so I choose "Draw to Image Itself". But actually there is an option to make the subtitles displayed on image(Overlay). So my problem about fixing Font size are resolved.

Here is my tip: Choose both"Draw to Overlay surface" and "Display subtitles on image(Overlay)" options. Font size is fixed and I will not lose the image when I look at the two subtitles.

Anyway, z, thank you all the same. I really appreciate your help.
