here is sample 3gp video 300KB
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
it is working with other renderers but it is not working
if you select D3D DX9 YUV renderer
In my case, I have no problem to open the video.3gp with Direct3d YUV renderer (DirecX 9).
I have got a problem too.
The display is blurred (see screenshot).
And when I close the video, KMP dont close and totally freezes my system. I needed about 10 minutes to close KMP from Process explorer :(
P.S. I tried it 2 times...I thought I am going to go crazy.
P.S.2 I have a GeForce 6600GT(128MB) and 91.47 forceware.
Would you attach the sample if you still keep it? (I've deleted it. :p) I would like to check it again.
Hmm..
I have no problem.

Having the same problem with other files in some case [.mp4 .mkv] when I put DIRECT3D 9 YUV Surface + external decoder [CoreAVC Professional Edition on video and ffdshow on audio], but when just enable the internal codec is WORKING REALLY GOOD [the quality is not good but work good] any suggested for working with YUV and COREAVC??
You can use vmr9 renderless. The custom renderers are not fully tested.
