HDVD and Blue Ray support would be a ball!

Yes, I love this player allready. For HDDVD files anbd discs, I have to use Powerdvd, which is far from my favourite. I have now an X-box HDDVD drive that works on this software. You have to install another version all the time if you also want Blue ray.

Woul be great if KM could handle these files, and I hope it will do in the future!

I also think "KMPlayer" should support HD and Blu-Ray, but there are two points to note:

1. The "Capture" options should also work with these media (some other players disable their "Capture" options when playing them--officially for copyright reasons ;) ).

2. Blu-Ray discs have Region codes like Video-DVDs (but unlike the eight Video-DVD Regions, there are only three Blu-Ray Regions). So "KMPlayer" should be able to play Blu-Ray discs (AND ordinary Video-DVDs) from different Regions WITHOUT the user having to change the drive's Region (which can be done five times only) or flash the drive (which can destroy it).
