The Kmplayer makes a high use of the CPU, te computer, block when pass a time used it to play music, always above of 90% when I see a film happen the same thing, that is the main problem, the developers have to work to improve that serious detail.

I use KMPlayer almost everyday and I have never experienced that problem...

So... maybe you shouldn't name that an important bug... I wonder if it could be a bad configuration problem... I think developers work too much... and users also complain too much.

Maybe we could help you a little more if you describe well your problem. But developers have nothing to do here.

I use Windows XP SP2
Kmplayer version is the last 2.9.3.1214 in the default configuration only specify that use the sound card of my PC to sound out because if I don't restart my PC.
When I listen music *.mp3 and *.wma files, the real media file don't work aren't know why with the videos and films happens the same thing. In this moment I used and consume between 42 and 79% of CPU and that is wrong because other media file player don't consume that, for example Winamp or JetAudio makes a slow use of CPU almost null, always zero. These programs free the CPU and don't charge it unnecessarily, give the total control to the program and it keep free to execute others tasks more important, the Kmplayer has to learn to do that for better.
The Kmplayer for this reason any action affected it, when I open the equalizer of the Kmplayer or another program in my PC makes a short breack or interruption in the sound reproduction, and in my opinion that can't be happen, that is the cause of the high CPU use, to take an idea do a comparison with other as soon as CPU use and you will see what I want to say. Thank you for all, see you soon.

I never had problems like these.
Please, you forgot:

-post ctrl+tab info of a problematic file(s)
-try to reset KMP

WMA and WMV need the MS WM9 runtime libraries.
Realtime need realmedia files (installed realmedia player or realmedia files from a codec pack e.g. realmedia alternative).
Do you have these?

The problem with the (*.rm, *.rmvb) was solved with the codec package, but I still see that the Kmplayer makes a high use of CPU including music, compares it with other reproductives and you will see.
