(fixed) sound(mp3)/splitter(avi)? problem with a particular file

So this wonderful player don't want to play the sound (mpeg1 audio layer 3) of an avi file (xvid). the video play with no problem. I have sound with windows media player, and others videos files plays fine (xvid-mp3 or else) in kmplayer (2.9.3.1214), mp3 alone plays fine too...

I have try to change "the usage of internal decoder" to "use after failing to play with system default" or to change some settings in filter/decoder options but no way to fix the problem... but I'm not a specialist of this mess...

my os is windows vista + ffdshow + xvid + cyberlink mpg2 + haali media splitter + direct vobsub + quicktime/real alternative (how to easily grap and post the filter lists used in the windows media player?)

Thanks! When i would cut my movie i have open the file in virtualdub and he say me "truncated or invalid mp3 audio format detected (16 bytes should be 30)". And he fixed it when i have "save as" the file without processing.
Windows Media Player, VLC and codec info tools seems to be less rigorous...

I consider this to be a bug as the file works perfectly in the stable KMPlayer Version
