View Full Version : The New "Make Snapshot" Option Has Bugs

Hi,

I have discovered that the pictures generated by this options are just colorful lines if

- the number of rows / columns <> 8
- the percentage value is changed

See also my suggestions for the option in the "Feature Requests" Section; the option should be more like the program "Image Grabber II," not just like the "Thumbnails" option of "Media Player Classic."

Perhaps the official release version could have an improved and refined option.

I also think that the option name "Snapshot" is confusing: this could also refer to a simple picture. "Save Thumbnails" or "Save Storyboard" would be more accurate.

Many greetings, :)

I took snapshot ( for xvid vid . have to test for THE OTHer foRMATS)with different options like rows, columns > 9 , percentages 20 , 40 etc & I didnt find any bug.

I too suggest the option something like ImageGrabber II.net where we can add background image .

Yes the term snapshot is confusing instead it should have something like " Timeline Collage " or " save storyboard "

Changed to "Make Storyboard"

Thanks for your suggestion.

BTW, I can't reproduce the bug you've mentioned.

It's corrected in the last English.ini (the same in which it has been changed "Make snapshot" into "Make storyboard"... ;) ).

Hi,

For me, the bug sometimes still occurs when I change the default settings, but it seems to have improved: only the first row is displayed as lines, the other rows are OK. Restarting KMP sometimes helps, but please check this option again. There should also be a possibity to save the pictures extracted by the Storyboard option as individual files, as ImageGrabber II offers.

Please also read my suggestions concerning Internet and Region-discs in the Features section of the Forum.

Many greetings, :)
