yes sorry that was a bit confusing. i meant all the png buttons with text in them - e.g. plist2.png, cbox2.png etc...

Trial and error works at times:
I could not get a snapshot of the text box that appears when you place a cursor over a specific button of The KMP (I hope that that's the font in question) but if that's the case than it seems to be the same font as assigned within the OS for GUI.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

no, im referring to the font used in the png's within the default.ksf file itself...

I don't mean the font in the tooltip, i.e. the global font. I'm talking about the font used in the png graphics of the buttons themselves.

I'm making a few extra buttons and just wanted to use it for the sake of consistency.
I suppose I could just copy samples of the letters from the original pngs, if need be.

I would have felt less of an ass had your last post v'been (I just made this up) your first.
Cloning should work.

Cloning should work.
That is what I'll do, but if I can get away with less work, I will
Surely whoever designed the original PNGs might remember what font they used??

opus made the skin, so you can try to ask him.

hmm, his name and url are in all the skin .ini files - maybe i should have looked there first :o

looks like hes not been around lately - no matter anyway, alternate solution has worked out nicely.

after posting it in the bugs forum, i figured it's maybe better to post it in this thread... -_- sorry... anyway, I think I found a bug in this skin: Choosing capture videoclip from the toolbox opens the storyboard creator instead of the video capture window (ALT + C)

Yes you're right, it does.

But that doesn't seem to be Opus' mistake because he has the correct command linked to that button i.e. "CaptureAVIMovieCmd".
Unfortunately that command seems to be linked to "Make Storyboard". So it isn't the skin in this case.

I've recently installed KMPlayer for the first time, and I also love the Default skin :)

Can someone tell me what controls the random button colors, please? I just want to have the nice glowing blue color as the default. How do I set it so KMPlayer starts up with the blue each time? Thanks.

(I asked about this in the Skinning Development thread; so sorry for the repetition here.)

Cheers :)

I just want to have the nice glowing blue color as the default.
Right-click -> Skins -> Color Themes -> disable "Random Color Theme" ... then just choose you favorite color.

:o Thanks, I was just looking through the right-click options and found the Color Theme one :)

I'm editing the default skin colors manually now.

Cheers!
