Hi, I've just started using KMPlayer a couple of days ago and want to know if there is a way to remap the mouse button functions.
Specifically, I want to remap the buttons to functions other than the ones offered in the options menu. Normally, I like to have the middle mouse button mapped to "playlist toggle on/off".
Thanks.
Hallu,

Thanks a lot.
I must have missed it...Silly me.

I recently switched from BSPlayer (love KMP, btw) and one of the things that I still miss is the ability to resize the player window with the mouse wheel. I can zoom/unzoom, but I want the whole window to expand or shrink (keeping the current aspect ratio). Would it be possible to put that in a future release? Or maybe in the next major release you could have a complete .ini file for remappings.
Just a thought. Thanks!

Isn't it possible to do now? There has already been the various options like "Keep Aspect Ratio" etc.

What do mean by that?

I was just suggesting that if you could resize the window with the mouse wheel, it should keep the aspect ratio it had.

Some programs I've seen keep all of their key definitions in a .ini file. This makes it easier to match any function to any key. Again, this is just an idea as it would take some work to impliment.
Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm sorry to make you repeat what you've said, but there was something which I didn't fully understand. In my thought, you seemed to be talking about the function "Cycle Aspect Ratio" via mouse wheel. Am I right?

Sorry I was a little confusing in my first post, I'm not sure why I mentioned Aspect Ratio in the first place.
Basically what I mean is a totally new function that would increase the current window size when you called it. Like dragging the bottom right corner of the window.
Check if it is the same function as you mentioned by pressing "Ctrl+Alt+Gray plus/minus key in numpad". :)

Ah! :D
Somehow I must have that function. It's exactly what I'm looking for with one small problem (I'm just full of them), if you lower the window size below the minimum x size, the window will only shrink in the y dimension. This wouldn't be a problem except for when you increase the window size, it will keep that ratio, and come out all stretched. And when the Autohide skin is on, it won't increase the y size at all. Is there any way for the window to match the ratio of the video?
If you can get this worked out and mapped to the scroll wheel, KMP would be perfect. I already recommed it to all my friends. Thanks for putting up with people like me and making such a great program.

Wow! I've never known the bug until you found it. By the way, there is an option for the window to follow the AR of the video in "Screen Control" > Adjust AR to window size.

As it's not so difficult to add the function to work via mouse wheel, let's wait the next beta version. ;)
