Big Bug in Winamp Media Library in the latest beta

In the latest Beta 2.9.3.12.34
Winamp media library does not go any more, the year is found in the name of the artist, the tags ogg are not recognized any more and the sights and the functions query do not function any more. :confused:

Hello,

Check if you have a working in_vorbis.dll in plugin folder. To scan some kind of media files, a suitable input plugin of winamp is needed.

Looks weird. I've tested it but didn't find any problem.

Remove "ml" folder containing media library data under "Plugins" folder and all plugins except for the followings.

gen_ml.dll
in_mp3.dll
in_vorbis.dll

If you call ML after launching KMP, you should have a query box to add folder(s) to scan.

ps. Try to remove gen_ml.ini file additionally. If you are using Vista, I can't confirm your problem.

I did what you said et it's always same. Ogg is found but tag is bad . The name of artist is in year , the small view doesn't work, in the view audio, group by artist/album is incorrect because i think that the program who recognized the tag informations is bad. I tried on two computers, it's the same.
The previous version Add media library didn't work, now, yes but analyse informations is very bad. Sorry but it's true. Try to create a small view with video is equal 0 and genre is equal something

Which version works without a problem? From the given information, in_vorbis.dll seems not to work properly. As you may know, the function depends on input plugin itself.

So, try to find the updated in_vorbis.dll working with kmp.

Try to rescan using this.

i don't understand, it's the same in vorbis.dll
I take the in vorbis.dll of 2.9.3.12.10 and put in the folder that the latest beta

Actually, I don't use Media Library. So I don't know well your problem. I don't really like the way of working of Media Library. (Just my opinion)

If I use anything, it'll be MeXP, Dynamic Library or something else.

What do you use to manage lot of album and video's ? Mexp is dead ? Media library is very good when it's work.

I was still using MeXP. As for now, I don't use any media library. Favorites function of KMP is enough for me. MeXP is dead but still better than ML. It is possible to manage video files.

The author wants to figure out the problem with ML. The problem is exactly in ogg tags?

My "Media Library" is a folder on my hard disk called "Media Library" :cool:
