Which version of windows are you using? Is it a chinese version? Which language file are you using?

You can change the codepage of subtitles but I just wonder if it really does not work with the default codepage.

Would you post ctrl+tab info while playing movie? The characters are seems to be traditional chinese. The subtitles looks correct to display if the charset is switched to traditional chinese in my system.

Your configuration of Charset might be wrong.

Charset:129, It is for korean. Change it to system default or traditional chinese in preferences > subtitle processing > font style > charset.

Anyway, it looks weird because if you don't use Korean Windows, the value of Charset must be 1 meaning System Default.
