Hi,

I'm using the latest beta build.

With all the mov files I play, the video doesn't appear on screen when I use Haali renderer. To make the video appears I have to use the progress bar and then the video appears.

You can make a test with this video: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

I use the latest Haali build.
I don't have the problem with MPC+Haali+ffdshow.

I can confirm this. But maybe this is Haali video renderer fault, not KMPs.
Also, you have the new beta 1254, but there is a newer 1255 (KMP.exe only) version, which is compiled with Delphi 2007, you should overwrite the old one. It is a clickable link in the 1254 beta thread.

Weird. In my case, I have no such problems with haali's video renderer.
Did you change the settings of haali's video renderer?

Only the sharpness...to -0.75

Did you change the settings of haali's video renderer?

No nothing has been changed.
I have even uninstalled (with clean of the registry) and reinstalled Haali to be sure have the initial values.

Ok I have uninstall KMP and Haali.
Reinstall Haali and KMP (with the KMP.exe ver 1255).
But I still have the problem.

I don't think it's a renderer fault because I don't have the issue with MPC.

Can I help with any other information?

Thanks

The first time I try to play the file - its ok. But the next time I try to play it - the video doesn't appear on screen when I use Haali renderer. To make the video appears I have to use the progress bar and then the video appears.

The file plays fine with ZoomPlayer/MPC (Haali+FFDShow).

It doesnt help when I change the decoder to FFDShow for h264.
I also use the 1255 version. Overlay mixer is ok.

Hi,

I've tried the latest beta 2.9.3.1262 and I still have the problem...

I really don't know what to do to solve this issue. :(

Z as you don't have the problem can't you send your presets.reg to see if I've missed something?

Edit:
Z, try this one.
[Only registered and activated users can see links]

I don't have the problem with this mov...

Thanks

There is nothing special in my settings.

All I do is to initialize KMP in preferences and change video render to Haali's one.

Yes you're right nothing interesting with your presets :(
I'll search something else.

Thanks

Hi Z,

I've made some tests and I don't have the problem using MP4 Haali's splitter or Gabest MP4 splitter.

So even you cannot reproduce the problem, maybe there is something with the KMP MP4/mov splitter?

Thanks

I can't get the Haali to work at all.

Nothing special. I don't know well the differences between you and me. Something in your systems seems to cause a conflict with KMP. Or try to change the settings of colorspaces in preferences > video processing > input/output colorspace. (Remove YV12 input/out.) As I have no problem with Haali's video renderer, it's hard to guess the problem in you.

Thanks for your help.

I've already tried the input/output colorspace but it doesn't change anything.
(It seems that KMP changes the output to YUY2 by itself because it's Haali.)

I've cleaned my system and I still have the problem.
I've tried on another computer and I have the same issue.
Maybe it's an issue relative to the graphic card ? because the 2 computers have a nvidia FX5200.

Thanks

Hi,

Just to say that I have tried on another computer with a nvidia 6800gt graphic card I have the problem too.
In fact I've tried on different computer I have the problem, so I really believe that it's a bug.
If there is way to find the problem please let me know.

Thanks
