I know I'm bothering you all a lot, but I can't understand a part of how the playlist works... It doesn't seem to work as a simple playlist, It seem to have some kind of "memory" of what items have already been played and what haven't... when I add songs to the playlist, their color is black, but after played they bacame grey... no problem with that, but it seems that kmp uses this thing somehow... if I double click on, for example, on one of the songs of a playlist when all the items are "grey", kmplayer playst that song and then, instead playing the next one, it jumps to the first of the playlist... is there a way to turn this "already played memory" off?

I just found I can partially change this behaviour by changing what kmplayer does when an album is "completely played" (general -> repeat/playlist -> general -> when finished) but what I really want is to be sure that, if I double click a song in a playlist, all the subsequent ones will be played, regardless of their black/grey status (black grey with default pure skin)

It has a meaning only when media files are playing in shuffle mode. If all files are played in playlist, all the items of the playlist will become black again.

BTW, I don't quite understand what it is.
if I double click on, for example, on one of the songs of a playlist when all the items are "grey", kmplayer playst that song and then, instead playing the next one, it jumps to the first of the playlist...

(after initializing the kmplayer,) To describe the steps you've made would be helpful to understand the situation.

Sorry, I read it again and I wasn't clear at all :-) made a mistake with cut and paste (I'm at work so I had to write quickly ;) and ended up with that phrase... by the way, thanks for helping me :-) Now, a clearer explaination ^_^

I want to have kmp stop playing at the end of the playlist, so I set

General -> Repeat/playlist -> general -> When finished (audio) do nothing

Now, the steps:
- I load some audio files
- I listen to them all
- while listening the last one of the playlist, i double click on one in the middle of the playlist
- the file I double clicked is played to the end, then kmp stops

Instead, I want it to work this way
- I load some audio files
- I listen to them all
- while listening the last one of the playlist, i double click on one in the middle of the playlist
- the file I double clicked is played to the end
- kmp plays the next one, then the next, to the end of playlist
- when kmp ends playing the last playlist file, it stops

like winamp and other players do :) (not meaning to confront them with kmp, it's only to explain myself better ^_^)

It actually a small glitch of not correctly finishing the last item in playlist. It could be fixed.

I have the same issues. Sometimes KMP just plays only one song of the playlist instead of playing all of them. I don't why sometimes it does sometimes not.

Check playlist when KMP just plays only one song. I guess there would be only one item in playlist. By default, KMP traces on the item of playlist for next playback on the fly. So if you select other tap of playlist like default which does not contain anything, the playback would not be continued.

Playback follows Playlist.

If you find something, let me know that. :)

ps. As you said you have a same issue of ilGaspa's, I tried it again but couldn't find a same problem. Surely, it was fixed.
