Hi,

A little bug which annoys me a bit (along with the accentuated characters issue in the media library).

I have a NVIDIA 7600 GT graphics card with the latest XP drivers available. I'm using two screen in extended desktop mode, a 19" CRT in 1400x1050@85 Hz, and a 17" LCD in 1280x1024@60, the LCD being the second monitor located on the left of the CRT.

When I move KMPlayer on the second screen, close it and reopen it, the main windows (main, control, playlist) are correctly re-placed on their previous position, but the media library always re-appear with an offset from the left border of the screen, if I place it too close from this left border, in this offset area (if I leave it in this new position and close KMPlayer, it reappears correctly in this position).

Don't know if I'm clear, or if you'll able to reproduce the bug... I've attached two dual-screen captures, I hope they'll help you to understand what's happening :)

Thanks.
Maxime

Media library is old and its from Winamp. The newer Winamp media library doesnt work with KMP. There are many other problems with media library. An alternative is - MeXP...its better, but not free.
There should be more topics about media library...search the forum.

I've tried MeXP, and no, it did not convince me.

I've not found how to manage videos with it; as far as I know, it's a music-only media library.

KMP is an audio AND video player, hence, I want a media library which can manage both audio and video files.

Sorry if this bug is Winamp-related, I thought that a bug which involves window positioning would have been related to the software which uses that window.

But if I can't report anything about the media library, only because it's an external plugin, what else can I do? Okay, the ML has bugs, but the fact is that KMP comes bundled with it, and, therefore, inherits from its bugs.

So, you'll always have to deal with bug reports related to it... unless KMP comes with another plugin, or with its own, well-integrated media library.

If I remember correctly, it was possible to define an extension to manage in the preferences of MeXP.

I'll look at this. Thanks.
