it would be really nice wen km is minimized to tray to pop up a menu with the basic play functions: play/pause, FF, RW, stop, and volume, something like click on the icon to open this menu and double click to open KM

But it takes a lot more time to find those functions and lot of the appearing functions are useless when kmp is minimized.

But it drives on two wheels and on three and on four, it flies, it hovers, it goes supersonic in the air and underwater so must it also be a skateboard?
Besides, if you look at my screenshots, all but FF and Rew are accessible with a single click....that can be added.

thats exactly what i meant and it would be usefull when you are working and you dont have time to search the functions, like a quick control i think it would be easy to incorporate witout taken another function.....

True, but it still takes time to find them between a lot of options wich are useless when minimized.
