View Full Version : Windows taskbar doesn't go away in fullscreen
It doesn't always happen but sometimes when I go to fullscreen mode, the windows taskbar stays and doesn't go away. To solve the problem I double click the screen a few times (to change from fullscreen to window mode and back) and it goes away.
I am using windows vista and the latest stable build 2.9.3.1214
To illustrate i made a screenshot of it: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Have you tried the latest beta? If no, please do.

I'm using version 2.9.3.1428 and i have the same issue pretty often. Is pretty annoying.. is there a definitive solution for this problem?

Could it be another program interferring? Have you tried to change the video renderer?
Try to reset KMP to default settings.

It just happened again, i doubt it's another program's fault because only daemon tools and the firewall were running (both on background) at the time. I'm currently using the overlay mixer renderer because it's faster on HD content, anyway after several minimize/resize of the kmp window it finally maximized correctly. I have yet to reset the settings, will try that later and report back :)

I've also had this problem multiple times. I'm running XP by the way. I don't know how to reproduce it but I know it has something to do with focus.

I also have this problem sometimes. Especially often it happens if I'm running copy of KMPlayer, but even if I have only one instance of the program, taskbar can appear when paused nonetheless. Moving from and back to fullscreen, or showing KMPlayer taskbar solves the problem in most cases, but if this doesn't help, I click on windows taskbar when still in fullscreen
I have KMPlayer Version: 3.0.0.1439, Windows XP SP2, and if this has some meaning, my uxtheme.dll is patched with this program: UXTheme Multi-Patcher 6.0.exe
