Under options-->association/capture-->tab association
When i press "select none" and then "apply to system" it just changes right back to my previous associations.
EDIT: i see that this topic has been moved from "report a bug" to "General Discussions". Is that because the programmer couldn't reproduce my problem? Let me be a little more specific: there are just a few extensions i cannot disable, like mp4, mpeg, asf, but there are extensions that i cán disable, like avi, mov and wmv. Can some of you try if you have this problem too? I really think it's a bug.
EDIT2: in the mean time i reinstalled Windows and now it works fine, i guess it was a system specific problem, strange...
EDIT3: i just sort of figured out what was causing the problem. KMPlayer seems to think it's impossible for certain filetypes to have no player associated with it. So when you don't want KMPlayer associated with a certain filetype, just associate it with the player of your choice and then uncheck the filetype in KMPlayer's options. This probably won't work instantly, because changes you make in Windows' associations (control panel-->folder options-->filetypes) sometimes take some time to have effect.
