What is the built-in subtitle display program of kmplayer?
Besides, compared with vobsub, what is the advantage and disadvantage of kmplayer for subtitle display? Thanks!

KMP has its own subtitle parser and renderer.

The most advantage, in my thought, is that overlay subtitles can be drawed on overlay surface. It's most useful to display subtitles with DxVA feature enabled. (ex: .ts + subtitles) And for the disadvantage, it's not available as an standalone directshow filter like vsfilter.

well, if the built-in subtitle parser could support mulitple internal subtitles in mkv and do better support for ssa/ass, it will a great achievement. Then I will no longer need the vsfilter.
