hi,

1. There is a zoom in /out options in shortcut using mouse + Scrollwheel.

Where is the option to reset zoom without using wheel, keyboard shortcut or the menu item for that.

2. When used to increase brightness similarly using mouse + scrollwheel, which item is being affected, is it software brightness , or hardware brightness or which option, how to reset. is there a keyboard shortcut or menu item in context.

1. Right click -> Pan & Scan -> Reset to original size (keyboard shortcut by default: Num 5)

2. Y Brightness (aka basic brightness). Preferences -> Color Controls -> Software. Or right click -> Video (Basic) -> Increase/Decrease Y. I think there's no shortcut to reset it, but you can try "R" key to reset all the color controls.
