hey fellas

I usually use the PowerDVD H264 decoder, but some movies are not compatible(even in YUY2, they just give a black screen).

so I usually put the merit of the PowerDVD filter to "DO NOT USE", and CoreAVC to "+255 PREFERED".

It used to work fine, but since the last beta all it does is using the "KMP decoder(low merit)"

...can I completely disable it ?

the only way to get CoreAVC working again at this point is to re-register the CoreAVC .ax file.

BTW, what is the internal AVC decoder based on ?
ffdshow ?
there's a dual core version of ffdshow, maybe this could be used instead ?
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
it splits the H264 decoding between the 2 cores

Thanks again,
